Your Next Opportunity
As a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Designer you will utilize CAD, BIM, and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) technologies to design, create, and modify residential architectural construction documents that meet or exceed quality standards and customer expectations.
What Does it Take to be Successful?
- Apply exceptional knowledge of drafting standards, residential building codes, construction documents, and consultant drawings (including structural, electrical, and MEP) to create, review, interpret, and modify residential construction documents (master plans, base plans, and job starts) using CAD/BIM software such as Higharc, Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam while ensuring compliance with Epcon standards and project requirements.
- Develop and maintain moderate productivity speed, quality control/accuracy on assigned projects.
- Maintain regular communication with management, co-workers, and cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and project schedules. Proactively communicate project status, timelines, and deliverables to supervisor. Provide a high level of customer service through occasional communication with internal customers via email and conference calls.
- Participate in regular meeting including, but not limited to, the following: Provide project status reports with product development team and project summary reports to analyze effectiveness of production methods, client updates and requirements.
The qualified candidate will have an Associate’s of Science degree in Architectural Design or Residential Construction required (Bachelor’s preferred). The position requires 2 years of experience preparing and/or modifying residential construction drawings.
