What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Controller position at EPC Powder Manufacturing Inc.?
The EPC Quality Controller position is responsible for Quality Control, technical aspects of production, and supports other departments as needed. This position works closely with the Productions Manager and other EPC staff to ensure that we are manufacturing a quality product safely and efficiently. This job is open at our North East, Pennsylvania location.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day assurance of the quality compliance of manufactured product.
- Sampling of product to identify and quickly rectify issues with product runs.
- Product testing and documentation.
- Work with Lab as needed with matches, troubleshooting, and product development.
- Other tasks as needed.
This position requires the use of a forklift and other tools and equipment that require diligent attentions to safety and care to prevent damage. Frequent standing, lifting, walking, and other physical movement are required. Use of technical equipment, computers and other electronic devices required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in powder coating industry
- Some level of post secondary education preferred
- Critical thinking, problem solving
