Responsibilities
- Lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Java-based applications
- Implement and oversee AWS services integration, focusing on Glue and other data services
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
- Participate in architecture reviews and provide technical guidance
- Engage in SCRUM ceremonies and planning sessions
- Work with stakeholders to support data infrastructure needs and ensure seamless integration with other technologies
- Provide leadership in technical decision-making and project direction
- Facilitate the grooming of stories and solutioning for complex technical challenges
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Java Development
- 3 years in a technical lead role
- Proficiency in AWS services, particularly AWS Glue, and experience with data services
- Experience in microservices architecture and REST APIs
- Ability to analyze legacy applications and define target state design/architecture
- Experience with OAuth patterns, Unit & Integration Testing Frameworks, OpenTelemetry & Logging
- Experience in agile methodology and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with client-facing experience
- Leadership and mentoring abilities
