POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Operations will oversee operations for EPAC Group’s South Shore restaurant portfolio, initially consisting of two high performing restaurants in the South Shore. This role is responsible for operational execution, leadership, development, financial performance, labor management, guest experience, and implementation of operational systems and processes to support organizational growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational presence within the restaurants, including evenings, weekends, and peak operating periods as needed.
RELOCATION REQUIREMENT
Due to the operational demands of the business, this position requires residency in the South Shore area within a reasonable commuting distance of the restaurants. Consistent physical presence and responsiveness are essential functions of the role.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee day-to-day operations of both restaurant locations
Lead and hold accountable General Managers, kitchen leadership, and department managers
Drive financial performance through labor management, Prime Cost control, purchasing discipline, and operational efficiency
Monitor and improve guest experience, service standards, and operational consistency
Recruit, train, develop, and retain management and hourly team members
Work closely with ownership on strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and future acquisitions
Build systems, reporting structures, and operational processes to support future portfolio growth
Maintain compliance with all health, labor, alcohol, and safety regulations
Be actively present during key operating periods and high-volume service times
Support onboarding and operational integration of future acquisitions
Oversee managerial, administrative, and operational support functions including scheduling, payroll coordination, reporting, vendor communication, inventory oversight, licensing and permit renewals, local marketing initiatives, unemployment and HR-related matters, mail and correspondence management, banking and cash handling procedures, and other day-to-day operational office responsibilities

WORK SCHEDULE EXPECTATIONS
Typical work schedule expected to average approximately 50–60 hours per week depending on business needs and seasonality
Flexibility required including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Greater operational presence expected during peak summer periods, staffing shortages, and major operational transitions
FUTURE GROWTH
As EPAC Group continues to expand through strategic acquisitions and operational growth, this role is expected to evolve into a broader operational leadership position with increasing responsibility, compensation opportunity, and long-term organizational impact.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
