Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional Saturdays as needed)

Compensation: Negotiable based on experience

Position Summary

EP Logistics is seeking a Customs Brokerage Manager to oversee and manage daily brokerage operations, ensuring full compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations. This role requires strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of customs processes, and experience with Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and looking for a long-term opportunity within a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily customs brokerage operations, including entry processing and compliance activities
• Ensure all entries are accurate, timely, and compliant with CBP regulations and other government agencies
• Manage and support brokerage staff, including training, performance monitoring, and workflow coordination
• Review and approve customs documentation, classifications, and duty calculations
• Maintain compliance with FTZ regulations, including inventory control and reporting requirements
• Serve as the main point of contact for CBP, clients, and internal teams regarding brokerage matters
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure procedures are updated accordingly
• Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions when necessary
• Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and operations teams to ensure efficient cargo movement
• Resolve complex entry issues, discrepancies, and client inquiries in a timely manner
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide high-level customer service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (required)
• Proven experience in customs brokerage operations
• FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone) experience required
• Strong knowledge of CBP regulations, HTS classification, and import/export processes
• Experience in a supervisory or management role preferred
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in brokerage software systems and Microsoft Office
