Job Duties include:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
- Record and categorize financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly.
- Generate financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets, regularly.
- Sales Tax Filings.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for all clients.
- Provide administrative support to the CPA and team members, including scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining office organization.
- Serve as a primary contact for client inquiries, demonstrating excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Assist with tax season support and other special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper with a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably within a CPA firm or a similar multi-client environment.
- Above-average proficiency in both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
- Excellent Excel skills, including the ability to utilize formulas, pivot tables, and other advanced functions for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts with accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including the accounting cycle and financial statements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide exceptional service to diverse clients.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial information with discretion and integrity.
- Associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus but not required.
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification is a plus but not required.
- Experience with other accounting software or financial automation tools.
Time Commitment:
This is a full time position, Monday through Friday, with additional hours during tax season.
