Job Summary -
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Infrared Paving Foreman to lead a crew responsible for infrared asphalt repair operations. This role oversees daily jobsite activities, ensures quality work and safe practices, and coordinates materials, equipment, and labor to complete high-performance infrared patching and pavement restoration projects. The ideal candidate has strong asphalt knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to manage production while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities -
- Lead and supervise the daily operations of the infrared paving crew
- Operate or oversee the use of infrared asphalt heaters, rollers, and related equipment
- Ensure proper prep, heating, blending, and compaction for seamless asphalt repairs
- Monitor repair quality and ensure finished patches meet job specifications
- Plan daily tasks, assign responsibilities, and manage crew productivity
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and truck logistics to and from job sites
- Maintain communication with project managers, clients, inspectors, and other trades as needed
- Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce PPE use and company safety policies
- Keep accurate records of labor, production quantities, materials used, and jobsite conditions
- Train and mentor crew members in proper infrared repair techniques and best practices
- Troubleshoot issues in the field and make adjustments as necessary to maintain workflow
- Perform additional duties as assigned

- 1 years of experience in a leadership or crew lead role preferred
- Strong working knowledge of infrared patching processes, compaction, and finishing
- Ability to read and understand job specs, work orders, and site layouts
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
- Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area
