Responsible Manager: Director of Business Development and Academy
Location: Pflugerville, Texas
We, EOS - world market leader for industrial 3D printing, are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team! The Business Development Manager, Metal is responsible for driving strategic growth for EOS in key industrial markets, with a primary focus on Defense and additional emphasis on Space, Energy, and other advanced manufacturing sectors.
Your Mission
- Identify, develop, and qualify new customer opportunities within Defense, Space, Energy, and other strategic growth markets.
- Build and leverage industry networks to create a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders across government agencies, prime contractors, OEMs, research organizations, and industrial end-users.
- Monitor industry trends, funding initiatives, and emerging applications to identify growth opportunities for EOS.
- Transition qualified opportunities to Applied Engineering and Sales teams for account development and commercial execution.
- Lead technical discussions with engineering, manufacturing, and executive stakeholders.
- Represent EOS at conferences, trade shows, industry associations, and customer events.
- Develop industry-focused content, including presentations, webinars, articles, and case studies.
Your Talents
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing, Physics, or a related technical field.
- 10 years of experience in business development, engineering, technical sales, product management, or market development within Defense, Aerospace, Space, Energy, Additive Manufacturing, or related industries.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to conduct detailed discussions on manufacturing technologies, materials, and applications.
- Demonstrated success generating new business opportunities and developing strategic customer relationships.
- Established network within Defense, Space, Energy, or other advanced technology sectors.
- Experience working with defense programs, government agencies, prime contractors, or highly regulated industries.
- Direct experience with metal additive manufacturing technologies and production applications.
- Advanced degree in a technical discipline or business.

Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
