Social Community Coordinator

Job Summary:

We're looking for a culturally connected, and social-first Social Media Coordinator to support our growing social media team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about social platforms, plugged into emerging trends, and excited to help brands build meaningful connections with their audiences.

Responsibilities:

Social Listening & Trend Spotting

• Monitor social platforms, emerging trends, cultural moments, and conversations relevant to our brand and audience
• Identify timely opportunities for social engagement and content creation
• Surface insights, trends, and best practices to the broader team through regular reporting and recommendations
• Track competitor activity and social landscape shifts to help inform strategy

Creative Concept Development

• Support the development of social content concepts and campaign ideas
• Assist in creating creative briefs that clearly communicate objectives, audience insights, and creative direction
• Collaborate with internal teams to bring ideas to life
• Help ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, social best practices, and platform trends
• Assist in the execution of social support for brand campaigns, and retailer initiatives

Community Management & Audience Engagement

• Foster authentic relationships with our audience through thoughtful, timely engagement
• Escalate customer service inquiries and sensitive conversations to appropriate teams
• Identify recurring themes, feedback, and audience sentiment to help inform future content and marketing efforts

Industry Research & Insights

• Conduct ongoing research across social media, beauty, lifestyle, and consumer brand categories
• Monitor platform updates, new features, creator trends, and emerging consumer behaviors
• Gather examples of innovative content, campaigns, and social activations to inspire future work
• Support reporting efforts with competitive, industry, and audience insights

Requirements

• 0-2 years previous experience in community management and/or social media marketing .
• Demonstrated understanding of brand engagement and consumer behavior .
• Knowledge of beauty, personal care, and cultural trends.
• Proficient in written communication and content creation.
• Passionate about social media, internet culture, and digital storytelling
• Naturally curious and always paying attention to what's trending and why
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once
• Strong communicator who enjoys collaborating across teams
• Creative thinker with a keen eye for content and audience engagement
