Senior Printer Technician

WHAT YOU WILL DO: As a Senior Printer Technician at EOS IT Solutions, you will oversee the maintenance, optimization, and technical support of client printer assets, ensuring seamless operation of the printing infrastructure. You will provide advanced technical support for APAC users, manage escalations across tiers 1–3, and contribute to process improvements and SOP development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Leadership

• Provide advanced technical support for complex printer-related issues and lead escalated problem resolution.
• Offer innovative solutions to optimize printing infrastructure performance.
  
  
  

Printer Maintenance and Repairs

• Perform maintenance tasks and lead service repairs on client printers.
• Coordinate with vendors for complex technical issues.
• Assist System Administrators in managing and troubleshooting print server infrastructure.
  
  
  

Support Management (Tiers 1–3)

• Manage printer-related support across tiers 1–3.
• Collaborate with end-users and higher-tier support for efficient issue resolution.
• Utilize HP Web Jetadmin utility to push configuration and firmware updates.
  
  
  

SOP Development

• Contribute to creating and maintaining SOPs for the client’s printing environment.
• Ensure SOPs remain accurate and aligned with evolving requirements.
  
  
  

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Printer Technician or similar role.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex printer issues.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Passion for innovative problem-solving.
  
  
  

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

• Familiarity with HP printers and Web Jetadmin utility.
• Experience in advanced printer maintenance and optimization.
• Knowledge of Windows Server environments.
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Pay Range

$27—$32 USD
