Spa Massage Therapist

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and aromatherapy, tailored to the individual needs of each guest
• Assess guests' health conditions and specific requirements to deliver safe and effective massages
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly sanitized and stocked
• Promote the spa's products and services, including recommending retail products for at-home self-care
• Uphold the highest standards of guest service, ensuring a positive and relaxing experience for every guest
• Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and continuously enhance massage skills through professional development opportunities
  
  

Requirements

• Valid state license or certification as a Massage Therapist
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury spa setting
• Proficiency in various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and aromatherapy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
