Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Clean and sanitize public restrooms, including replenishing supplies.
- Vacuum and mop floors in lobbies, corridors, and other public areas.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decorative items.
- Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners.
- Clean and maintain elevators and stairways.
- Guest Service:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
- Report any guest complaints or issues to the supervisor.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Inventory and Supplies:
- Monitor and maintain an adequate inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Replenish supplies in public restrooms and other areas as needed.
- Notify the supervisor of any supply shortages.
- Teamwork and Communication:
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Assist with special projects or tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- The position requires standing, walking, and moving for extended periods.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and various cleaning equipment.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent guest interaction.
