Responsibilities
As a On Call Banquet Bartender, you would be responsible for preparing beverages and serving beverages to the guests at our banquets/events. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Compensation: $9 per hour Tips
This is an On Call, year-round position working at the various banquet meeting rooms located at Kingston Resort. Flexible schedule, with holidays and weekends is required. Responsibilities
As a On Call Banquet Bartender, you would be responsible for preparing beverages and serving beverages to the guests at our banquets/events. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Proper and adequate set-up of a banquet bar. This includes requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet.
- Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
- Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documents orders for drinks. Mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control. Check guests for proper identification. Detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained. Demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
- Receives cash from guests, makes any change needed, verifies validity of charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed, in order to balance all moneys.
- Locks up and stores all beverage, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank.
