What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Mental Health Counselor position at Eos Health Center?
Job Overview
Eos Health Center is expanding. We are looking for a licensed (or permit-eligible) therapist to join our integrative team. We specialize in high-performance recovery, TBI support, and first-responder resilience. We don't just talk about change; we facilitate it through a blend of traditional clinical therapy and cutting-edge Neurofeedback.
Core Responsibilities:
- Clinical Intervention: Provide individual, couples, and group counseling to a designated caseload, utilizing a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the Eos "Hardware & Software" philosophy.
- Integrative Assessment: Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to create and implement personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans that bridge traditional psychotherapy with neuro-tech interventions.
- Advanced Modalities: Educate and guide clients on lifestyle changes that support mental wellness, and incorporate integrative techniques like LENS Neurofeedback and Photobiomodulation into treatment plans as appropriate (Training provided).
- Specialized Support: Provide empathetic and effective interventions for high-stress populations and individuals dealing with PTSD, addiction, grief, chronic pain, and TBI recovery.
- Documentation Excellence: Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within our EMR (Jane app), ensuring full compliance with HIPAA regulations and ICD-10 coding standards.
- Crisis Management: Engage in proactive crisis and behavior management to ensure a regulated and safe environment for all clients.
- Collaborative Care: Participate in multidisciplinary team coordination to develop comprehensive care plans that address the "whole person" (biological, psychological, and social).
What We Are Looking For:
- A New York State licensed or permit-eligible clinician (LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, or Psychologist).
- A "systems thinker" who is curious about the intersection of bio-technology, somatic work, and traditional talk therapy.
- A self-starter who values scheduling flexibility and is comfortable working in a hybrid environment (In-person Webster office & Virtual).
- A professional who embodies our "Common Sense" approach to health: being grounded, empathetic, and focused on long-term resilience.
- Someone who is able to provide evening and/or weekend hours is preferred
