Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Administer medication reminders and assist with light household tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals
- Support clients during meal preparation and feeding, ensuring proper nutrition
- Help with transportation to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed
- Maintain detailed documentation of care provided and any incidents or observations
Skills
- Compassionate and patient with excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow care plans accurately and adapt to changing needs
- Strong organizational skills for managing schedules and documentation
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Prior experience is preferred.
