Key Responsibilities
Data Preparation & Management
- Collect, consolidate, and organize data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Clean, standardize, and validate datasets to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Identify and resolve missing, duplicate, or inconsistent data records.
- Assist in data profiling, quality assessment, and data integrity checks.
- Support data transformation and feature engineering activities for analytics and machine learning projects.
- Create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and documentation.
- Assist in preparing datasets for dashboards, reports, and business intelligence initiatives.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, anomalies, and insights.
- Generate summary statistics and visualizations to support decision-making.
- Help validate analytical models and reporting outputs.
- Assist in developing and improving data preparation workflows and automation scripts.
- Support efforts to improve data governance, data quality, and data management practices.
- Document processes, procedures, and best practices related to data handling.
- Work closely with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions regarding data requirements and quality improvements.
- Communicate findings, issues, and recommendations clearly to team members.
Required
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of databases and data structures.
- Familiarity with SQL for querying and manipulating data.
- Experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy) or similar analytical tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and data preparation techniques.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Exposure to version control tools such as Git.
- Gain hands-on experience with enterprise-scale datasets.
- Learn modern data engineering, analytics, and machine learning workflows.
- Work alongside experienced Data Scientists and Engineers.
- Develop practical skills in SQL, Python, data quality management, and business analytics.
- Participate in real-world projects that directly impact business outcomes.
- Data quality improvements and reduction of data errors.
- Timely preparation and delivery of analysis-ready datasets.
- Accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Contribution to automation and process efficiency initiatives.
