Sr. Software Engineer Architect

The Software Engineer Architect will be responsible for the following:

• Creating and evangelizing data engineering standards and methodology at EOG.
• Leading & guiding multiple teams and projects.
• Choosing and implementing different technology stack for various business data needs.
• Implementing & supporting business driven tasks & processes
• Data modeling business requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other equivalent technical degree with 8 yr data engineering or similar experience or Masters degree in equivalent field with 6 yr data engineering or similar experience.
• Should have experience in gathering business requirements and translating & implementing into scalable, reliable & distributed data engineering solutions.
• Should have experience in designing, implementing and supporting full life-cycle of software solutions.
• Should have worked with multiple teams to implement enterprise data engineering projects and mentoring team members.
• Should be expert in one or more technologies relevant to data engineering. Should have clear understanding and experience in relational & non-relational databases.
• Should have design, implement & manage experience in event driven, cloud based architectures and expertise in containerization and streaming technologies.

This position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
