Responsibilities
- Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to tables efficiently, maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Assist with food handling and preparation tasks to support kitchen operations when needed
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and seat guests promptly to ensure smooth flow of service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of host station, dining areas, and service stations
- Buss tables by clearing dishes, resetting tables quickly, and ensuring a tidy dining environment for incoming guests
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service and address guest needs
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and proper sanitation practices
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads comfortably
- Experience with banquet service, catering setups, or hotel hospitality is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining a positive attitude
