We are seeking an experienced Part-Time In House Tailor to join our Midtown Showroom!

Experience

• Be able to read both traditional tailoring marks and alterations tickets.
• Must be able to press front of lapels and sleeve heads, pants press waistband and top part of trouser, mark the trouser crease at the bottom, press both legs
• Knowledgeable of pressing techniques for various weights of fabric
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Provide excellent customer service at all times, and make and meet tailoring deadlines
• To succeed, you must:
• Have relevant tailoring experience, specifically with men’s suits, including shortening working button sleeve cuffs.
• Have experience operating tailoring equipment such as, standard single-needle sewing machine, industrial blind stitch, and any machine necessary to efficiently complete the product
• Good communication skills; basic conversational English to work effectively with others
• Be detail-oriented, organized, have a friendly demeanor and a high standard of integrity

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $34.00 per hour
