Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid WordPress Developer role with ENX2 Marketing, based in Wilkes-Barre, PA, with the possibility of some remote work. The WordPress Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites, ensuring they are responsive and user-friendly. Key tasks include collaborating with team members to understand project requirements, creating custom themes, implementing plugins, managing updates, and optimizing websites for performance and SEO. Troubleshooting and resolving website issues will also be a crucial part of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Front-End Development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience in Back-End Web Development, including PHP and MySQL
- Expertise in Responsive Web Design to create websites optimized for multiple screen sizes
- Strong Web Design and Web Development skills, with experience in creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and website optimization best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field preferred
