As a Kitting team member, you will play a vital role in the preparation of furniture components, ensuring that all items are accurately grouped and ready for shipment. Responsibilities
- Accurately gather furniture components and prepare them for on time shipments.
- Organize kitting areas to ensure efficient workflow and easy accessibility to materials.
- Inspect and verify that all components meet quality standards.
- Label and pack kits with necessary documentation for easy identification and usage.
- Coordinate with inventory management teams to maintain accurate stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance kitting processes and reduce waste.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant work experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Previous experience in kitting, assembly, or a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
- Operating a forklift
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
