Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of carpentry, including installation, assembly, and restoration work. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Finish Carpenter will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes that meet our clients' specifications and expectations.

Duties

  • Perform installation and assembly of various carpentry elements, including cabinetry, trim, and moldings.
  • Execute door hanging and ensure proper alignment and functionality.
  • Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
  • Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed.
  • Build and install custom structures while ensuring they are plumb, level, and square.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site.

Skills

  • Proficiency in carpentry techniques with a focus on finish work.
  • Experience with water damage restoration and mold remediation processes is preferred.
  • Strong ability to assemble various carpentry components accurately.
  • Knowledge of construction estimating practices for effective project planning.
  • Skilled in installation techniques for doors, cabinetry, and other finish elements.
  • Ability to build structures that meet precise specifications while ensuring quality craftsmanship.
  • Familiarity with plastering techniques is a plus.

Requirements

  • 1 years experience in finish carpentry, preferably in high-end residential or commercial settings
  • Mastery of carpentry tools and woodworking techniques
  • Ability to read and work from detailed drawings and specifications
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in active job sites and occupied residences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cabinet-making or millwork shop experience
  • Experience with luxury renovations or custom home building
