About Envoy Clinical ResearchEnvoy Clinical Research is a Dallas/Fort Worth-based clinical research organization (CRO) on a mission to close the distance between where medicine is going and the people who can't afford to wait for it to arrive. We partner with community physicians and care providers to bring FDA-regulated clinical trials directly into their existing practices — at no cost, with no disruption to clinical workflow, and with full operational support provided by our embedded research team.
We are messengers that the gap is shortening — and we are looking for physician partners who share that belief.
The OpportunityWe are seeking licensed physicians and qualified care providers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to serve as Principal Investigators (PIs) on FDA-regulated clinical trials embedded directly within their practice. This is not a traditional employment opportunity — it is a practice partnership that generates meaningful supplemental revenue while giving your patients access to investigational therapies they may not otherwise reach.
Envoy handles everything. You provide the medical expertise and patient relationships you've already built.
What You'll Do as a Principal Investigator- Serve as the physician of record on FDA-regulated clinical trials across your specialty area
- Review patient eligibility and provide medical oversight of enrolled trial participants
- Participate in trial-related medical decision-making in accordance with the approved protocol
- Collaborate with Envoy's embedded research coordinator — who manages all day-to-day study operations on your behalf
- Attend brief investigator meetings and required GCP training (provided by Envoy at no cost)
- Maintain the standard of care your patients already trust and expect
Time commitment: Approximately 4–5 hours per week during study start-up, decreasing significantly once enrollment is underway.
What Envoy Provides — Fully, At No Cost to Your Practice✔ An embedded, fully trained research coordinator placed within your practice
✔ All regulatory, IRB, and sponsor documentation — managed end to end
✔ Patient recruitment, screening, scheduling, and retention support
✔ GCP training and ongoing competency development for your team
✔ Audit readiness, quality oversight, and compliance management
✔ Community engagement and diverse patient outreach
✔ 100% FDA and sponsor audit success — zero Form 483s or VAIs, ever
Revenue PotentialMost new research sites generate revenue per clinical trial, depending on the therapeutic area and enrollment volume. There is no upfront investment required from your practice. Revenue is generated through study participation fees paid directly by the pharmaceutical sponsor.
