Direct Support Professionals/ Life Skills Instructor Positions Available

Full-Time Evening Positions

We have a few options options that could fit your lifestyle better:

Option 1: SundayThursday

• Sunday: 8:30 a.m. 10:00 p.m.

• MondayWednesday: 3:30 p.m. 10:30 p.m.

• Thursday: 3:30 p.m. 8:30 p.m.

Option 2: TuesdaySaturday

• TuesdayThursday: 3:30 p.m. 10:30 p.m.

• Friday: 3:30 p.m. 8:00 p.m.

• Saturday: 8:00 a.m. 10:00 p.m.

Perks of These Shifts

• Enjoy a seamless straight 8 or longer shiftno clocking out for lunch or supper.

• Share meals with individuals while providing support during mealtime, including meal preparation and enjoyment.

• Staff are given dedicated time to eat during their shift, effectively adding an extra hour of paid time to your day.

Asleep Overnight Position

• Schedule: Sunday night at 10:30 p.m. through the next morning at 8:00am until Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m.

• Ideal for: College students or anyone seeking supplemental income

• Staff are expected to be awake and provide assistance whenever the individual is awake.

As a Direct Support Professional/ Life Skills Instructor, you will provide supervision and hands-on support in accordance with Nebraska Health and Human Services guidelines, helping create a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for the individuals we serve.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
  
  All additional training is provided on-site, including:

  • Nebraska medication administration certification

  • Aide training

  • Abuse and neglect training

  • First Aid and CPR

• Ability to perform all aspects of the position, including:

  • Basic household management

  • Budgeting and handling money responsibly

• Valid Nebraska drivers license and a good driving record preferred

LOCATION OF POSITION:

Norfolk, Ne

Offered compensation: $17/hr

Experience and License Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Human Services (optional)
