POSITION SUMMARY
The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for coordinating the daily administration of doctors, staff, visitors, and patients at the clinic. The front desk team is essential in ensuring patient care is our number one priority flawless execution of the customer experience.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
· Greets patients within 3 seconds of arrival or calls and provides excellent patient care.
· Handle a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume calls.
Understands how to navigate and read documents in patients’ charts and knows common insurance/billing codes/insurance authorizations
· Prepares patient chart, verifies insurance, and updates patient information at each visit
· Tracks and reports daily scheduling metrics in the dashboard
· Performs simple bookkeeping such as collecting all patient balances and co-pays due before and post service
· Ensures waiting and office areas are clean, neat, and organized
· Performs work accurately and thoroughly despite time pressure and patient volume; identifies situations involving unsatisfied patients and acts quickly for resolution
· Active on teams to effectively communicate throughout the day
· Protects patients’ rights (HIPAA) by maintaining confidential personal and financial information
· Responsible for requesting IT assistance for any help needed and resolving the issues
· Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes
· Assists as needed with faxing, copying, making phone calls, preparing patients’ medical records, scanning, patient referrals and Rx refills
· Assists with insurance verification
· May be required to perform other related duties as assigned

· Strong written and verbal communication skills; utilize R3s before staff meetings
· Ability to maintain confidentiality with staff members and patients, HIPAA compliant
· Follows all company policy and procedures to ensure safety and security of the business.
· Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the building.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple incoming calls.
· Experience using multi-line phones, Windows based programs, internet, and multi shared inbox systems and dual monitors.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Ability to prioritize, organize, and have good retention skills, while working well under pressure.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· GED or High School Diploma required
· Minimum (2) years of professional experience required
· Current State Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record required
· Experience working with team members across multiple functional roles (Preferred)
· Bilingual English/Spanish; verbal and written proficiency required
· Basic math skills required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, sitting, or walking
· Must be able to lift at least 25lbs
· Perform work with OSHA required PPE, Including COVID19 PPE
