Role Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect with proven experience in financial/banking domain projects, multiple Salesforce certifications (including one Architect certification or other relevant), and prior consulting firm experience. The role requires leading enterprise Salesforce implementations, driving architectural strategy, and ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Delivery
- Lead end‑to‑end technical delivery of Salesforce projects
- Mentor developers/administrators on Apex, LWC, integrations, CI/CD
- Review solution designs and technical specifications
- Own technical backlog and align priorities with PMs/product owners
- Solution Design & Development
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models
- Develop reusable components (Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, LWCs, flows)
- Design secure sharing models, permission sets, and roles
- Integration Ownership
- Architect integrations with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs
- Use middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, Jitterbit) and event‑driven patterns
- Troubleshoot integration failures and optimize performance
- Governance & Best Practices
- Establish/enforce Salesforce coding standards and DevOps processes
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and technical QA
- Manage CI/CD pipelines (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, Git workflows)
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to validate feasibility
- Convert functional requirements into technical tasks
- Support UAT cycles and defect resolution
- Documentation & Support
- Maintain technical documentation (data flows, API specs, deployment guides)
- Provide L3 support for complex production issues
Mandatory Skills
- Salesforce Architect certification 3–4 other Salesforce certifications (must provide links)
- At least one project in financial/banking domain
- Experience working with consulting firms
- Application re‑architecting, architectural diagrams, assessment, patterns/styles
- SOA & microservices architecture, migration planning, compliance evaluation
- Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, flows, automation, integrations (REST/SOAP/middleware)
- Salesforce security model, governor limits, performance tuning
- CI/CD & DevOps (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, Git)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud
