Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Tech Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications for our client. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and cloud technologies, along with proven experience leading development teams and making architectural decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise Java applications.
Develop scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
Define technical architecture, coding standards, design patterns, and development best practices.
Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and improve application performance.
Mentor developers and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.
Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and secure software development practices.
Work with relational databases, messaging systems, and cloud-based platforms.
Support production deployments, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and ongoing application improvements.
Ensure solutions meet enterprise security, reliability, scalability, and quality standards.
Required Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17 or newer.
Expertise in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
Experience designing and developing microservices-based architectures.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and API integration.
Experience with Hibernate/JPA and SQL databases.
Knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, JVM fundamentals, and performance tuning.
Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, Mockito, and code-review tools.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or another enterprise cloud platform.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging/event-driven technologies is a plus.
