Job Description / Responsibilities
- Product design, development, and implementation.
- Electrical hardware design involving:
- Mixed-signal designs
- Power supply designs
- Processor-based designs
- Cable designs
- Identify low-cost alternatives to off-the-shelf parts such as:
- Monitors
- Printers
- Card readers
- Scanners
- Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
- FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- DOE (Design of Experiments).
- Root Cause Analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering and/or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 5–10 years of experience in product design, development, and implementation.
Preferred: Experience with Design for Manufacturability, FMEA, DOE, and Root Cause Analysis.
