Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Estimator, located in Manassas, VA. The Chief Estimator will be responsible for managing the estimation process for various projects, developing cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, preparing detailed proposals, and collaborating with project managers and clients. Daily tasks include reviewing project plans, specifications, and supporting documents, conducting site visits, and ensuring accurate and timely estimates that align with company standards.
Qualifications
- Proficient in cost estimation, proposal preparation, and project analysis
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and labor costs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in construction estimating software and tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in the commercial glass industry is Required
