What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Envision Dental Care PLLC?
Hours are: 9-5 Monday and Tuesday
10-7 Thursday, 9-2 Friday.
CLOSED WEDNESDAYS. Approximately 27-30 hours per week. Candidate should be able to work all these hours.
Experience is preferred but not required. Will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and record patients' digital and impression records
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Take dental x-rays
- Perform dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment
Preferences:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix
- Familiarity with dental coding for insurance billing purposes a plus
- Ability to perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
-Manage lab cases. Need to communicate with lab and patient for lab cases.
