Job Description:
Process development by transforming raw material into a complete part by programming, set-up, operating, and maintaining CNC machine tools, utilizing expertise to translate blueprints and technical drawings into precise machined parts by selecting appropriate tools and ensuring the quality and accuracy of finished parts through thorough inspection and quality control measures with a focus of on-time deliveries.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Process development with programming, tool selection, speeds and feeds.
· Work with tooling vendors to troubleshoot and improve processes.
· Design and building of fixtures and work holding as needed.
· Complete first article inspections as needed.
· Continuous quality checks throughout the production run.
· Ensuring that the proper gages and inspection equipment are laid out for the operator(s).
· Understanding and being an active participant with the job schedule and planning board.
· Documenting set-up times, production times and counts accurately.
· Documenting cycle times and routing adjustments as needed.
· Assisting and training of machine operators.
· Assisting with inventory and ordering of tooling.
· Being an active participant with continual improvement ideas.
· Maintaining a clean and functional work center(s).
· Maintenance and repairs of equipment and shop where needed.
· Maintaining a clean work area to Envision Tech standards.
· Assisting where needed and working as a team to maintain production flow.
· Operate CNC machines using safe practices.
· Conduct yourself with professionalism and courtesy towards other team members.
· Maintain a high level of accountability in all aspects of your vocation.
