What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Envirotek, LLC?
Customer Service Representative (Scheduling & Quotes) — Summit Professional
Camano Island, WA · In-house · A five-tier climb · Full benefits after 90 days
You don't arrive at the summit. You choose it.
Every call, every day, you decide how you show up — especially when the person on the other end is having the worst morning of their week.
Here's the job, in plain terms
The customer is the hero. Something's wrong with their home and they're worried, and you're the first human they reach. You're the guide — from the first hello, to the right tech at their door, to a clear quote they can decide on. You carry the customer the whole way through.
Ask a Summit Professional in this seat what they do, and they won't say "I answer phones." They'll say: people call us on their worst morning, scared about their home — I'm the calm voice that turns it into a plan, gets the right tech to their door, and puts a clear quote in their hands so they can decide. You own the experience end to end — nobody should ever have to chase us.
Real talk: right now this is three jobs in one
We're honest about where we are. Until we're big enough to split them, this seat does three things: answers customers, runs the daily schedule (dispatch), and prepares Quotes. That's a lot, and we won't pretend otherwise. Here's the upside — you'll learn the entire customer engine, and as we grow and split these into separate seats, you'll have first claim on the climb you want.
How we work — what we don't bend on
- We don't sell — we give people a clear choice. A Quote lays out honest options so the customer decides what's right for their home. The choice is always theirs.
- We work for a mission, not commission. No quotas pushing you to oversell a neighbor.
- We earn the right to be recommended — one call, one kept window, one honest quote at a time.
- You won't be thrown to the wolves. You'll learn alongside people who've done the work — and help turn it into the standard as we build it.
The one thing we can't train: belief
We require you to actually believe in this work — because a customer can hear the difference between someone reading a script and someone who means it, and so can your teammates. Conviction is what makes the trust call real. We can teach the skill; we can't install the belief. You bring that.
The tools you'll run
Jobber (scheduling customer records), the phones, and our Quote process (the Customer Success Quote). You'll keep the board moving and the records clean — both at once.
The honest part (so you can choose with your eyes open)
It's a phone seat, and more. Back-to-back calls. Some people are upset before you say a word, and you stay calm and kind anyway. You'll juggle the calls, the schedule, and the quotes at the same time, document everything the same day, and we hold you to answer speed, booking, experience, and follow-up standards. It's in-house, not remote. It's real, fast, emotional work — and it matters.
A word on where we are
We're small, and we're building our systems right now — the training, the climb, the standards. You won't plug into a polished machine; you'll help build it, and the standard you're held to will partly be one you helped write. For the right person, that's the whole appeal: ground floor, real ownership, no bureaucracy. If you need a finished playbook handed to you on day one, this isn't your mountain yet.
What we've set our sights on
We're not trying to be the biggest septic company in the county. We exist to prove there's a better way — better experience, better work, better people. Every call handled right, every window kept, every honest quote is evidence in that case.
What’s waiting if you choose it
Pay that climbs by proof — no commission, raises earned by what you can demonstrate. Full benefits after 90 days (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match). A real climb with no ceiling — and because you'll learn the whole customer engine, real choice about which seat you grow into.
The climb — earned by proof
Base Camp (30 days) → Tier 1 · Proving It → Tier 2 · Owns It → Tier 3 · Elevates It → Tier 4 · Multiplies It → Tier 5 · Elite. You advance by proof, documented and measurable — and we're building the climb right now, so the first people through help shape it.
Who a Summit Professional is in this seat
- You treat the tenth upset caller of the day like the first — because that family doesn't know they're number ten.
- When you say "I'll take care of it," it's handled — and you close the loop so no one has to chase us.
- When the day's schedule breaks, you re-sequence and tell the customer and the tech what changed before they have to ask.
- You build a Quote that's clear and honest — options, not pressure — so the customer can decide for themselves.
- You write the note so the tech needs zero follow-up questions, and when a teammate's buried, you grab what you can before it becomes a dropped ball.
Don't choose this if…
- You take anger personally and let it leak into the next call.
- You freeze when the schedule breaks or three things land at once.
- You let notes, quotes, or follow-ups pile up.
- You need problems solved for you— we teach you how and then watch the magic happen.
- You go quiet when the queue gets heavy.
The honest fine print
Comfortable on the phone and a computer all day, organized under pressure, able to juggle calls scheduling quotes at once, in-house (not remote). Jobber experience a plus. Reports to the Head of Operations (Daniel).
How to apply (5 minutes — we read every one)
- Apply here in BambooHR.
- Two questions: a time something went wrong that was on you, and what you did about it; and the most useful correction you've gotten and what you changed.
- A 30–60 second video (phone is perfect — paste the link): why this work, and why here?
