Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mining), Geology, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in technical support, product application, or consulting within the mining or industrial sector.
- Proven background in dust control, haul road stabilization, tailings management, and surface treatment technologies.
- Familiarity with brine-based, polymer-based, and water-extending surface treatments preferred.
- Strong fieldwork experience with ability to operate independently in remote or challenging environments.
- Working knowledge of mining dust control regulations (MSHA/OSHA).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to travel up to 70%, including internationally.

About Your Role
The Mining Product Specialist serves as both a technical authority and field ambassador for EnviroTech’s dust control and road management solutions across mining operations globally. This role combines hands-on field deployment with consultative sales support to help mining clients optimize performance, safety, and environmental compliance.
You’ll partner closely with Sales, Technical Services, and R&D teams to expand EnviroTech’s footprint in surface and underground mining. The Specialist will lead product trials, deliver technical guidance, and gather insights to inform product improvement and strategic development. This position requires regular travel to customer sites across North America and select international markets, including Canada and Latin America.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate dust control and road stabilization needs across mining operations.
- Lead product trials, field applications, and performance monitoring, ensuring successful adoption and safety compliance.
- Provide on-site training and technical support for operators, engineers, and maintenance personnel.
- Collaborate with Sales and Lab teams to design and implement tailored product solutions for unique site conditions.
- Prepare technical proposals, reports, and presentations for mining clients.
- Maintain detailed records of field data, customer feedback, and trial results to support continuous improvement.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on mining dust control technologies and application best practices.
- Share field-based insights to support product innovation, marketing strategy, and regulatory alignment.
- Stay current on relevant MSHA/OSHA regulations and environmental standards to ensure compliance and product fit.
- Build strong relationships with mine operators, engineers, and key decision-makers.
- Represent EnviroTech at industry conferences, trade shows, and technical forums.
- Contribute to long-term customer satisfaction and trust through exceptional service delivery.

Working Conditions
- The work environment is the typical office, laboratory, plant, and field environments. The employee must complete their work satisfactorily in an environment where there are significant distractions, including staff, clients, and vendors walking through and conversing, telephones ringing, conversations carrying over, loud noises, and interruptions to answer questions from others. This position may be exposed to chemicals, extreme weather conditions such as heat, cold, and wind.
