Job Summary
The Accounting Manager oversees full-cycle financial operations, payroll administration, and manufacturing cost control while leading and developing the department's support staff. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for maintaining accurate monthly financial records, preparing financial statements, and coordinating year-end reviews and tax preparations with external CPAs. Key daily and operational duties include managing multi-state/provincial payroll, filing sales tax, and overseeing accounts receivable and invoicing workflows. Epicor experience is preferred but not necessary. ERP (manufacturing) experience is a necessity.
Accurate Maintenance of monthly financial records of ETS
· Complete daily/weekly accounting tasks – assign where possible to supporting team
o Manage support staff
· Month end Financial Statement preparation
o Reconciliation of major accounts
o Enter General Ledger Adjusting Journal Entries as needed.
o Process Bank Reconciliations monthly
o Work with Financial Controller to review accounts
o Target completion by 15th day after end of month
· Work with outside CPA’s for PBC’s preparation and to support their FYE Review and corp. tax prep.
· Work with the Financial Controller on the Asset list and the Depreciation Schedule.
Payroll and Related Duties-Completion of Payroll and Maintenance of related benefit programs and Sales Tax Returns by State.
· Confidential preparation of bi-weekly payroll
· Maintain confidential employee files including new hire orientation
· Complete all necessary monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings
o Annual reporting of W-2’s and 1099’s. o Added responsibility multi-state / province payroll
· Health Insurance, Aflac, 401K Plan – split work with CFO to manage for ETS employees · Maintain relationships with supporting agents / vendors
· Prepare reports for insurance auditors for general liability and WC.
· File state sales tax returns as needed including any Canadian reports concerning GST/HST
Manufacturing Controllership Work with Production/Supply Chain/Engineering staff on cost savings activities
· Review job costs and variances on a monthly basis – As needed
o Work to reset default accounting codes where needed for proper accounting
o Investigate large variances with the team
· Alert Financial Controller and CEO of any negative trends and positive trends.
· Work with team and make recommendations to improve costs and efficiencies

o Identify and follow through
· Ongoing review of gross margins from machines sold/produced – share with Director of Production, CFO, CEO, and VP Sales & Marketing. Set up meetings and facilitate.
· Ongoing incoming cash flow reports.
· List of Machine Sales.
Transportation Reports
· Filing IRP and IFTA reports.- Assist Transportation as needed.
Accounts Receivable and Sales
· Process daily Sales Invoices to be mailed or emailed.
· Process monthly Customer Statements to be mailed or emailed.
· Enter Sales Orders for machine sales and whole goods sales.
· Give manufacturing machine trade in information to add to inventory.
· Ship and invoice machine and whole goods sales.
· Process deposits for customer checks, wires and ACH payments.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
