As part of our expansion, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. Position Overview
As a Laboratory Technician, you will support multiple departments within the lab, working with a wide range of tests and instrumentation. You’ll perform sample prep, wet chemistry procedures, and assist with general laboratory operations. Over time, you will have the opportunity to train on advanced equipment and develop more specialized analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform sample preparation for various drinking-water analyses.
- Conduct wet chemistry testing following established laboratory protocols.
- Assist senior chemists, microbiologists, and department leads with daily workflow.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot basic laboratory equipment.
- Cross-train on instrumentation such as CE, SEM, spectrophotometers, turbidity meters, and other analytical systems.
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and follow all laboratory safety procedures.
- Accurately document data and ensure quality control standards are met.
- Support additional lab tasks as needed across multiple departments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures.
- Basic understanding of general lab practices and safety.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn, cross-train, and grow into more advanced responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Experience in a laboratory setting (wet chemistry, sample prep, microbiology, etc.).
- Familiarity with analytical instruments or environmental testing.
- Interest in environmental science, water quality, or analytical chemistry.
