Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with building inspection and the interpretation, application and enforcement of applicable codes and ordinances.
- Complete asbestos and/or hazardous materials inspections and reporting.
- Oversee and document asbestos and/or HAZMAT abatement operations
- Complete post-abatement verification inspection and associated reporting
- Environmental data management, compilation, and analysis.
- Prepare samples for laboratory analysis, including Chain of Custody documentation
- Speak with team members on a construction site, including the contractor and owner’s representatives.
- Communicate with all entities keeping everyone fully informed.
- Maintain equipment as required.
- Understand and follow public health and safety requirements and the proper safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Experience with air monitoring, lead assessment/risk analysis and other industrial hygiene practices is a plus
- Ability to verbally communicate and relay accurate information
- Computer skills required
- Must have attention to detail
- Drive to succeed.
- Asbestos Inspector Certification provided
- Lead Inspector/ Risk Assessor Certification provided
- NIOSH 582 Certification provided and more
- May be required to perform job duties in the field and office, during non-standard work hours, as necessary.
- Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

- Starting pay $18.00 - $20.00 based on experience
