Duties

• Supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent service standards
• Lead and motivate a team of baristas and food service staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences
• Train team members on POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, along with food handling and safety procedures
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math transactions accurately and efficiently
• Oversee food preparation, food safety compliance, and proper food handling protocols
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and ensure proper stock rotation for beverages and food items
• Enforce health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Assist in resolving customer concerns promptly while maintaining a positive attitude
• Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods and ensure timely service

Skills

• Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee knowledge and customer service skills
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a café or retail food environment
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing
• Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products naturally and enhance guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation techniques, and proper handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Ability to manage staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and foster teamwork
• Understanding of the food industry’s best practices related to serving, cash handling, and food safety regulations
