Principal Consultant, Health & Safety

ERM is seeking a full-time Principal Consultant, Health & Safety, to join our team in Houston, TX and the Gulf region. Support our Health & Safety service line. Support health and safety management projects and help clients address EHS risks and challenges. Must be fluent in Spanish. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement Safety Management Systems and risk assessments Perform incident investigations and develop corrective actions Assist in solving complex technical and regulatory issues Expand ERM’s Safety Services business and develop new opportunities Design and direct corporate H&S strategies and programs Lead and mentor the technical team Manage tasks to achieve scope, budget, and schedule targets Build client relationships and nurture repeat business REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in a related area; Masters degree preferred (or 8 years related experience). 2-3 years of relevant experience in safety and risk management. Ability to work independently and in a team setting. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to travel (up to 50%) and valid passport. Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently. Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area. GREAT TO HAVE: CSP, CIH, PE, or similar certification highly desirable. Consulting experience a plus.
