What are the responsibilities and job description for the Archaeological Field Technician position at Environmental Resources Management and Careers?
ERM is hiring Archaeological Field Technicians to support survey efforts for projects located in Lincoln County, Idaho. Successful candidates will conduct archaeological field surveys. This is a full-time (40 hours a week), limited-term field-based role for a duration of eight weeks, extendable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Visually inspecting the land surface for presence of archaeological and historic built resource.
- Working well with others
- Compliance with corporate Health and Safety requirements
- Performing other duties as assigned or required
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's in Anthropology required, unless they have obtained Field Certification from a junior college.
- 1 year of archaeological field survey experience.
- Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and on varied terrain.
- Working knowledge of archaeological survey protocols
- Ability to work in the field for extended periods of time.
