Key Responsibilities

·      Identify and qualify opportunities that fit ERC’s capabilities and direction.

·      Translate plans, specifications, and field realities into clear cost estimates and bid proposals.

·      Build complete, professional proposals that communicate scope, assumptions, and value clearly.

·      Collaborate across the team to tighten scope, improve accuracy, and strengthen bids.

·      Support smart risk decisions by identifying scope gaps, constraints, and contract considerations.

·      Manage pre-construction tasks to ensure smooth project starts, supporting transitions from pre-construction to construction.

·      Continuously improve how ERC estimates and pursues work.

Qualifications & Competencies

·      5 years of experience or foundation in estimating, construction, or environmental/civil work.

·      Ability to interpret plans and specifications, convert them into actionable scope, and perform take-offs.

·      Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, including attention to detail.

·      Working proficiency with common estimating software and business tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).

·      Integrity, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

·      Alignment with ERC values: continuous improvement, teamwork, safety, and proactive problem-solving.

·      Nice to have:

·      Experience with environmental remediation, stream and wetland projects, or UST removal.

·      Knowledge of environmental regulations, math, and science
