Position Overview
Location: Granby, MO
We are seeking a qualified Water Truck Operator to maintain dust control through strategic watering operations. This position requires operating commercial water trucks and managing irrigation systems across multiple properties.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate 2,000 or 4,000-gallon water trucks in various areas
- Refill water tanks at designated fill stations
- Connect and operate hoses for sod irrigation systems
- Manage heavy-duty hoses on varied terrain, including slopes and inclines
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of water usage and site locations
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience operating commercial water trucks preferred
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker Endorsement
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response)
- 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher (if applicable based on certification date)
- 10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety Certification
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy water hoses
- Capable of working on uneven terrain and slopes
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Stamina for extended periods of physical activity during 10-hour shifts
Working Conditions
- This position requires weekend availability (Friday through Sunday) with shifts averaging 10 hours per day.
- Work schedules are subject to adjustment based on weather conditions.
- Drivers and laborer will work together while following established safety protocols.
