We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple construction and
environmental service projects from award through closeout. This is an excellent

Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing assigned
projects to ensure they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest
quality standards. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, field
operations, subcontractors, and internal departments throughout the life of each project.
The ideal candidate has experience managing heavy civil, site development, erosion
control, or environmental construction projects and possesses strong leadership,
communication, financial management, and organizational skills.
Essential Responsibilities
Project Management
Manage projects from contract award through final completion and closeout.
Develop project schedules, work plans, budgets, and resource requirements.
Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and vendors.
Monitor project progress and proactively resolve scheduling or operational
challenges.
Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract
requirements.
Customer Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, municipalities, and inspectors.
Attend project meetings and provide regular status updates.
Respond promptly to customer requests and resolve issues professionally.
Financial Management
Review project budgets and monitor job costs.
Forecast labor, equipment, and material requirements.
Review and approve purchase orders and vendor invoices.
Prepare and negotiate change orders.
Track project profitability and identify opportunities to improve margins.
Review billing quantities and support monthly invoicing.
Operations Coordination
Work closely with Dispatch, Field Supervisors, Estimating, Procurement, Safety, and Accounting.
Schedule crews and equipment to maximize efficiency.
Ensure project documentation is complete and accurate.
Assist in developing project execution strategies. SafetyCompliance
Promote a strong safety culture across all projects.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Verify SWPPP, environmental, and regulatory requirements are followed.
Participate in safety meetings and project inspections.
Qualifications
3 years of project management experience in construction, environmental services, heavy civil, utilities, or related industries.
Strong understanding of construction scheduling and project coordination.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Financial acumen with experience managing project budgets and costs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
Experience using project management or construction software is preferred.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
OSHA 30
Preferred Experience
Erosion control or SWPPP compliance.
Heavy civil or site development projects.
Public works and prevailing wage projects.
Bluebeam, Procore, QuickBooks, MobiWork, or similar construction software.
Reading construction plans and specifications.
