Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Travel Installation Crew Member to join our field team. Working under the Installation Crew Supervisor, you will erect piping, mount equipment, and assemble support structures at customer sites across the country. This is an ideal role for someone who takes pride in building reliable industrial systems and thrives in a travel-heavy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Assemble and install piping, mechanical equipment, and support steel according to layout drawings.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate boom, scissor, reach, and aerial lifts, as well as rough-terrain and warehouse forklifts.
- Rigging: Secure materials and coordinate lifts in tandem with crane operators.
- Fabrication: Perform welding and torch-cutting to fit and finish system components.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot on-site challenges and execute corrective solutions under supervisor guidance.
- Travel: Travel extensively (75% ) for multi-day, out-of-town projects.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2 years of industrial installation experience (piping, rigging, or steel erection preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand/power tools, welding, and torch cutting.
- Certifications: Proven experience operating various lift equipment and forklifts.
- Requirements: * High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A safety-first mindset; familiarity with OSHA regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work extended hours as required by project deadlines.
