Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Environmental Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in scientific research and technical writing, with environmental background preferred. This role involves conducting environmental assessments, analyzing data, and contributing to project reports.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scientific research to assess environmental conditions and impacts.
- Utilize commercial mapping tools for spatial analysis and mapping.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate findings effectively.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on various environmental projects.
- Conduct site inspections for commercial properties.
- Help in conducting Phase II ESA sample acquisition in the field.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proficiency in mapping software.
- Strong research skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Excellent technical writing skills for report preparation and documentation.
- Ability to work in a strict deadline environmental with minimal error.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
