Vacuum Truck Operator Job Summary
eLabs is looking for a Vacuum Truck Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for liquid removal and disposal from customer locations. This is a full-time position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Confirm that the truck has all required equipment for the route in question
- Check the route regularly to make sure that the truck has the right equipment for the appropriate route
- Ensure that the truck is clean and free of debris after each trip
- Report any maintenance issues with the equipment to management immediately
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to improve service quality.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license - No CDL required.
- Ability to pass a background check and a drug test required.
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment for extended periods of time.
- Ability to read and write in English in order to comply with DOT regulations regarding safe driving practices.
This position will typically work from 6:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M., Monday through Friday with some weekends required, and an on call schedule. There will be occasional overnight trips as needed when working through inclement weather. The physical demands are extensive and include regular lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs., regular walking/jogging, occasional sitting/standing, and fine muscle coordination required.
