EHSS is located in Industry, Pennsylvania. We provide safety and operational solutions to our partners nationwide. They are Owners, Construction Management Companies, General Contractors, Specialty Contractors, and Associations that serve a wide range of industries, including Coal, Gas & Nuclear Power Generation, Steel, Chemical, Manufacturing and Oil & Gas.
EHSS’s team of safety professionals, represent and serve our partners focus on driving and/or establishing our clients safety vision, and culture, while providing leadership and direction to support a workplace that encourages observation, advising, coaching and corrective actions.
We deliver quality and timely subject matter expertise. Our business support will ensure a safe, sustainable, efficient, and legally compliant work environment is established and maintained at all times.
***Flexibility to travel anytime, anyplace, anywhere, and under short notice is required to fully support our team.***
Position Requirements:
- 5-10 Minimum years’ experience as a Safety Professional required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Safety preferred or equivalent, OSHA 510 & OSHA 500 a plus
- OSHA 30-hour Certification (Construction preferred) as well as extensive knowledge of OSHA 1910 General Industry and OSHA 1926 Construction Standards
- Maintain a safe work environment on a multi craft / subcontractor work site
- Conduct all safety meetings and attended project meetings as required
- Ability to read and advise on safety manuals, procedures, reports, workplace rules and procedures
- Provide Safety training / orientation for all personnel visiting the project site
- Complete and submit all permits (hot work, confined space, overhead, etc.)
- Must have knowledge with LOTO process and procedures
- Provide an in-field safety presence while demonstrating and effectively communicating the safety expectations of the owner/contractor as well as ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and site-specific safety regulations
- Speak with poise and confidence, using correct English, and able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Personality and communication must be top notch
- Must have competent computer skills (Microsoft Office, word, excel, etc.)
