Environmental Consulting & Technology (ECT) is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Permitting Specialist to support our Michigan Region. This role leads environmental permitting and compliance for complex projects, overseeing regulatory strategy, client relationships, and project delivery from planning through execution. Primary ResponsibilitiesLead environmental projects to ensure regulatory compliance, schedule adherence, and quality deliveryDevelop and execute permitting strategies; identify required federal, state, and local permitsPrepare and oversee permit applications, technical reports, and supporting analysisCoordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to facilitate reviews and approvalsManage project staffing, budgets, schedules, and client communicationsCoordinate environmental field assessments with multidisciplinary teamsInterpret permit conditions and develop compliance plans for construction and operationsPerform and oversee QA/QC for project deliverablesPrepare proposals, cost estimates, and contracting documentsMentor project teams and uphold ECT’s values of safety, quality, integrity, and teamwork Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in engineering or environmental scienceMinimum 10 years of environmental compliance experience (consulting or regulatory)Minimum 5 years of environmental project management experienceSubject Matter Expertise in one or more of the following: Threatened & Endangered Species, Wetland & Waterway Permitting, Vegetation Management, Land Use PermittingKnowledge of Michigan, Iowa, and federal environmental regulationsExperience preparing environmental reports and regulatory documentsExperience leading and mentoring teams of scientists and engineersPreference for experience supporting electric utilitiesValid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc. Salary : $76,200 - $101,300
