The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description The incumbent will support the land acquisition program of the Region 6 Real Property unit. Work will include maintenance of regional land records, contract administration, communication with program staff and landowners, negotiations with sellers, appraisals, and resolution of title issues.Will be required to supervise some Real Property staff and review work of subordinates to ensure standards and procedures are followed.Will be required to communicate clearly via telephone, written correspondence and in person to agency staff, peers in other State Agencies, as well as the public and private sector.Will be required to operate a computer and use software provided by the department.Must work with all regional programs when real property expertise is needed, including trespass and occupancy cases.
