Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Midland, TX for a Flare | VRU Field Service Technician. The technician will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing Flares, Combustors, Vapor Recovery Units (VRU), Air Compressors and other oil and gas field equipment. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Responsibilities also involve documenting maintenance and repairs, responding to service calls, and maintaining communication with clients to address technical issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing compression, combustion, and flare equipment
• Proficiency in using tools, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting equipment
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, including EPA and state DEQ requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration
• Ability to work in an outdoor, physically demanding environment
• Ability to work rotating shifts and respond promptly to service calls
• Relevant certifications in industrial or mechanical maintenance and safety procedures
• Previous experience in the oil and gas industry or similar field is preferred
• Ability to lift 50 Lbs.
