This is a full-time, on-site position located in Lawndale, CA. The Math Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality mathematics lessons that align with the school’s mission of providing equitable and sustainable education. Key responsibilities include designing innovative lesson plans, developing engaging and standards-aligned curricula, assessing student progress, and providing individualized support where needed. Additionally, the Math Teacher will collaborate with colleagues to foster a vibrant, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environment that inspires academic achievement and critical thinking.
- Proficiency in Mathematics and Mathematics Education
- Strong skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
- Qualified Teacher certification or credential in the relevant field
- Commitment to fostering an equitable and inclusive classroom environment
- Effective classroom management and communication skills
- Experience working with diverse and multicultural student populations is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
